Residential Home Evening Supervisor

About the role

Join ChildServe as a Shift Supervisor and receive a $3,000 hiring bonus! You'll oversee direct support staff and shift operations in a group home setting, contribute to hiring and training, and provide hands-on care. This role supports residents' independence and development in a nurturing, 24-hour care environment designed for children and young adults with special healthcare needs.

Supervise and support staff

• Manage hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations
• Maintain proper staffing levels
• Oversight of timecard and scheduling processes in line with ChildServe guidelines

Oversee resident care

• Ensure care plans and daily routines are followed
• Meet healthcare needs
• Ensure staff interactions are appropriate

Attend care meetings

• Manage supplies and equipment
• Maintain required certifications such as Certified Med Aid and Chauffeur’s License

What You’ll Need

• Education & Experience: Associate degree in human services, early childhood, or child development (or equivalent experience); at least 1 year in ICF/DD or working with children; supervisory experience preferred.
• Skills & Requirements: Strong English communication skills; ability to lift 35 lbs and perform physical tasks; must be eligible to drive for ChildServe.
• Certifications (Preferred): CMA, Medication Manager, or CNA certifications are a plus; must be willing to obtain Certified Med Aide and Chauffeur’s License.
