Residential Glazier- Measure & Sell Specialist

About the role

Glass Doctor of North Texas is hiring a Residential Glazier who's part craftsman, part closer. Key responsibilities include visiting homes to measure windows, doors, and custom glass, delivering on-the-spot quotes, upselling upgrades, and building trust to secure referrals.

Responsibilities

• Visiting homes to measure windows, doors, and custom glass (shower enclosures, mirrors, tabletops, and more)
• Delivering on-the-spot quotes and walking customers through their options
• Upselling upgrades and additional services when it's the right fit — and closing the deal
• Documenting jobs with before/after photos and keeping job status updated in our software
• Building the kind of trust that turns one job into a lifetime customer and a stream of referrals

Requirements

• 2+ years of residential glazing or related trade experience
• A tape measure you trust and a habit of double-checking anyway
• The confidence to talk to homeowners like people, not prospects
• A sales instinct — you know how to suggest the upgrade without being pushy
• Clean driving record and valid license
• Professional appearance and a genuine desire to grow

Qualifications

• Experience with quoting software or mobile estimating tools is a plus

Skills

• Excellent communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to build trust and rapport quickly
• Proficient with measuring tools

Pay

Total Earning Potential: $90,000–$120,000+
