Residential Glazier- Measure & Sales Specialist

About the role

The Glass Doctor of North Texas is seeking a Residential Glazier who combines technical skills with excellent interpersonal abilities. This role requires strong measuring and installation capabilities, along with the confidence to interact with homeowners and convert consultations into successful sales.

Responsibilities

• Visit customer homes to measure windows, doors, and custom glass installations (such as shower enclosures, mirrors, and tabletops).
• Provide on-the-spot quotes and educate customers about product options.
• Sell additional services or upgrades when appropriate and close those deals.
• Perform clean, professional glass installations with attention to detail.
• Document all jobs, take before/after photos, and update job status in software.
• Build trust and long-term relationships with customers through transparency and quality work.

Requirements

• 2+ years of residential glazing or related experience.
• Strong measuring skills (accuracy is crucial).
• Comfortable with tape measures and able to communicate effectively with both tools and customers.
• A sales-savvy mindset with the ability to upsell services and close deals.
• Clean driving record and valid driver’s license.
• A positive attitude, professional appearance, and a desire to grow.
• Familiarity with quoting software or mobile estimating tools is a bonus.

Benefits

Base pay plus commission, with top earners exceeding $100,000. Commission structure details are available upon request.

Pay

$24-$32 per hour, plus commission.
