Residential Energy Auditor

About the role

We are seeking a Residential Energy Auditor to join our team in Lakewood, NJ. This role involves conducting energy efficiency audits, installing energy-saving measures, and providing technical advice to customers.

Responsibilities

• Conduct residential energy audits
• Record inspection results and customer interactions
• Provide input and status updates to program staff
• Troubleshoot technical problems and recommend solutions
• Act as a local, on-site program and company representative to customers and contractors
• Install energy-saving measures such as light bulbs, showerheads, power strips, etc.
• Maintain organization of company vehicles, inventory, and paperwork
• Work in all weather conditions and inspect various areas of structures

Requirements

• 0-1 year of relevant industry experience
• High school diploma or GED
• BPI Certification preferred (can be obtained within 3-6 months)
• Ability to work in all weather conditions and access attics, basements, crawlspaces, and interiors/exteriors of structures

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to obtain BPI Certification within 3-6 months
• DOT Requirements if applicable

Pay

$20.70 - $31.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.

Schedule

Hourly schedule with occasional travel throughout a defined territory using a company-provided vehicle.
