Residential Energy Auditor
About the role
We are seeking a talented individual to join our team as a Residential Energy Auditor. Your primary responsibility will be to act as a local on-site program and company representative to residential customers. You will install energy efficient equipment, conduct energy efficiency (re)audits, pre- and post-installation verifications, and other technical data gathering activities within a defined territory. You will also support Program Managers in influencing stakeholders to sell and/or install energy efficiency and demand response retrofits or services. You will provide technical advice, guidance, and training on installation, adaptation, configuration, or enhancement in accordance with client specifications. You will troubleshoot technical problems and issues, and recommend solutions.
Responsibilities
- Install smart (wifi-enabled) thermostats and assist customers in app-based program enrollment.
- Provide emergency/support services to demand response customers.
- Troubleshoot technical problems and issues, regarding installation in accordance with client specifications.
- Act as a local, on-site program and company representative to customers; encourage participation in the program and overcome barriers.
- Travel throughout a defined territory.
Requirements
- Customer-service focus and strong interpersonal skills.
- 6 months - 1 year of relative industry experience (preferred).
- A high school diploma is required.

Targeted Compensation: $18-21/hr
