About the role
The Field Electric Supervisor supports operational excellence, maintains high-quality standards, and contributes to the successful execution of company objectives while collaborating effectively with internal teams, customers, vendors, and field personnel.
Responsibilities
- Perform assigned duties and responsibilities in support of departmental and company objectives.
- Maintain compliance with company policies, safety standards, and operational procedures.
- Cookordinate effectively with internal departments, customers, subcontractors, and vendors as required.
- Maintain accurate records, documentation, and reporting related to assigned responsibilities.
- Support process improvement initiatives and operational efficiency efforts.
- Communicate professionally and effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Aid leadership and team members with daily operational activities.
- Ensure quality standards and customer expectations are consistently met.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Required Skills and Abilities: Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills; excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills; strong conflict resolution skills; ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment; high level of attention to detail and accuracy; ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively; proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and applicable systems or software; strong customer service and relationship-building skills; ability to pass pre-employment screenings such as background and motor vehicle record checks.
- Education/Experience: High School Diploma or GED preferred; previous experience related to field electric supervisor responsibilities preferred; equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered; relevant industry certifications or licenses preferred, and required where necessary to perform job duties.
- Physical Requirements: Sit, stand, walk, and computer use; hand movements, including typing and equipment operation; travel as required to support project and operational needs; stand, walk, climb ladders and stairs, kneel, bend, stoop, crouch, crawl, reach, and lift throughout the workday; sit for extended periods while driving to and between job sites; work on active job sites, indoors and outdoors, including attics, crawlspaces, and confined or elevated spaces, with exposure to varying weather, construction noise, dust, and other job site conditions; wear safety gear such as Personal Protective Equipment; maintain dependable transportation and consistent, reliable attendance to meet customer service and operational needs; ability to exercise sound judgment and make independent decisions within established company policies and procedures; ability to work overtime, modified schedules, or occasional weekends as business needs require; communicate in person, by phone, and electronically, including on a tablet, smartphone, and other office technology; perform all work on-site and in person; this is not a remote or hybrid position; lift, carry, push, and pull at least 50 pounds.
