Single-Family Electrical Supervisor position in the Kennesaw, Georgia area overseeing residential electrical services.

About the role

Lead a team of electricians, coordinate residential projects, and ensure high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction. Provide technical guidance, manage resources, and maintain compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of residential electricians to ensure high performance and productivity
  • Plan, organize, and oversee residential electrical projects from start to finish, including scheduling, resource allocation, and budget management
  • Ensure all electrical work meets quality standards, codes, and regulations; conduct inspections and provide feedback
  • Serve as the main point of contact for clients, addressing concerns and ensuring a positive customer experience
  • Provide troubleshooting and technical expertise to resolve complex electrical issues
  • Enforce OSHA and company safety standards; conduct regular safety meetings
  • Manage materials, tools, and equipment; track usage and maintain inventory records
  • Identify skill gaps and support training initiatives for team members
  • Implement process improvements to increase efficiency and performance
  • Maintain accurate records including work orders, permits, and invoices

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required; electrical apprenticeship or equivalent experience preferred
  • 5+ years of residential electrical experience, including new construction
  • 2+ years of supervisory or leadership experience in single-family projects
  • Valid Georgia electrical license required
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record required
  • Strong knowledge of NEC, local codes, and residential electrical systems
  • Ability to read blueprints and use electrical tools and testing equipment
  • Strong troubleshooting, organizational, and project management skills
  • Knowledge of OSHA safety standards with a strong commitment to safety and quality
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
  • Must pass drug screening and background check

Work Environment

  • Work performed on active residential construction sites and occupied homes
  • Frequent travel to job sites within the designated region
  • Exposure to varying weather conditions including heat, cold, and rain
  • Work may involve heights, ladders, and confined spaces

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, and reach for extended periods
  • Comfortable working at heights and on ladders
  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks throughout the workday
