Residential DSP Tues. - Thurs. with Sun. in Waldorf, MD

Bay‑CSS is seeking a dedicated Residential Direct Support Professional (DSP) to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a residential setting located in Waldorf, MD.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily tasks including meal preparation, personal hygiene, and household chores.
• Provide emotional support and encouragement to individuals in the program.
• Implement individualized care plans and behavior support strategies.
• Maintain a clean and safe living environment.
• Document and report any significant changes or incidents to supervisors.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous experience working with individuals with disabilities preferred.
• Valid driver's license with reliable transportation and car insurance.
• Must pass a background check.
• Ability to lift at least 50 lb.
• Completion of all required trainings within the allotted timeframe.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and follow directions.
• Compassionate and patient demeanor.

Pay

Hourly rate: $21/hr. A $2 shift differential applies on Saturdays and Sundays.

Schedule

Tuesday to Thursday: 2 pm – 10 pm
Sunday: 8 am – 2 pm
