About the role

Bay-CSS is seeking a compassionate Residential Direct Support Professional (DSP) in Waldorf, MD.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living tasks, medication administration, and personal care.
• Provide emotional support, companionship, and encouragement in daily activities.
• Implement individualized care plans and behavior support strategies.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized living environment.
• Document resident progress, incidents, and behavioral changes.
• Communicate effectively with the team and follow all protocols and procedures.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in disability support preferred.
• Valid driver's license with reliable transportation and car insurance.
• Able to lift at least 50lbs.
• Able to pass a background check.
• Must complete all required trainings on time.
• Ability to adhere to the specified schedule: Thursday 3pm - 9am, Friday 3pm - 7am, and Saturday 11pm - 7am.
