Responsibilities

• Safely operate residential collection vehicles (side-loaders, rear-loaders, and automated trucks) to service neighborhoods across Hope Mills.
• Efficiently collect solid waste, recyclables, and yard waste according to daily route sheets.
• Provide courteous, professional service to residents and uphold route quality standards.
• Perform required daily pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and road-readiness.
• Coordinate closely with helpers, mechanics, and supervisors to keep routes running smoothly and safely.

Requirements

• Class A or B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
• 1+ years of commercial driving experience OR a certificate from an accredited CDL school.
• Ability to maneuver in and out of the cab, handle outdoor conditions, and manage physical aspects of residential collection.
• Strong commitment to local traffic laws, company safety procedures, and defensive driving.
• Professional demeanor with a positive, helpful attitude when interacting with local residents.

Schedule

• Full-time hours, daytime schedule.
• Local residential routes based in Hope Mills, NC.
