Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out residential drain cleaning using drain snakes, augers, and related equipment.
  • Install and replace plumbing fixtures, including toilets, sinks, and similar components.
  • Inspect and troubleshoot drain problems, explain repair or replacement options to customers, and complete the required work.
  • Advise homeowners on recommended repairs, system upgrades, and preventative maintenance to help avoid future issues.
  • Keep tools, equipment, and company vehicles clean, organized, and in proper working condition.
  • Adhere to company safety policies and plumbing industry best practices during every service visit.
  • Prepare detailed service records, invoices, and job documentation using ServiceTitan software.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in drain cleaning or residential plumbing.
  • Proficient in safely operating drain cleaning machines and equipment.
  • Capable of lifting and carrying 50 pounds or more.
  • Understanding of basic plumbing systems and repair techniques.
  • Able to work in confined or restricted spaces when necessary.
  • Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
  • Willing to perform outdoor work in varying weather conditions.
  • Currently enrolled in a plumbing trade program or interested in pursuing plumbing training.
  • Massachusetts Plumbing Apprentice License is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Valid driver's license with a driving record that meets company insurance requirements.

Pay & Schedule

  • Pay range: $28.00–$35.00 per hour, depending on experience
  • Hours: 7:00am to 4:00pm, Monday through Friday, with occasional overtime
  • Location: Danvers, MA
