Residential Direct Support Professional

About the role

Spectrum Support, Inc. is hiring Residential Direct Support Professionals. This position offers paid training and an excellent benefit package for full-time employees.

Responsibilities

• Provide opportunities for individuals with intellectual disabilities to participate in community events, employment, educational classes, or other activities of personal interest.
• Ensure the health, safety, and medical needs of the individual(s) are met at all times.

Requirements

• A valid Maryland Driver's License with no more than 2 points.
• Self-motivated, creative, and innovative in approach to providing supports that promote independence, choice, and self-determination.
• Ability to be a team player and respond to changes and/or crisis in a calm and productive manner.
• Demonstrate ability in providing support in a respectful manner that meets the various needs of persons served.
• DDA trainings, First Aid, CPR a plus.

Qualifications

• Must pass criminal background/LEIE check.
