About the role
NFI North is seeking Relief Direct Care Counselors and Residential Counselors/Behavioral Health Professionals to join our team in Bangor, Maine. We offer a supportive and innovative environment with opportunities for growth and advancement.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a safe and supportive environment for participants
- Supervise participants
- Crisis intervention
- Case management/advocacy
- All related documentation
- Provide instruction, support and assist families with challenges
Requirements
- One year working with youth
- Current BHP or CRMA certification preferred
- Strong organization and communication skills
- Ability to assume and delegate responsibilities and exercise decision making
- Bachelor’s degree in human services, social work, psychology, sociology or equivalent
Qualifications
- Flexible, energetic and creative
- The desire to be part of a team of professionals
