About the role
RiseWell Community Services is seeking a compassionate Full-Time Part Time Residential Counselor to join our team at our 6th Street Residence in Queens Village. The Counselor will provide skill training to individuals with psychiatric disabilities, educate and support the communities' understanding of recovery, and integrate individuals with mental illness.
Responsibilities
- Provide skill training to individuals with psychiatric disabilities
- Support the communities' understanding of recovery and integration of individuals with mental illness
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Services OR High School Diploma with two years experience working with persons with psychiatric disabilities
- Fingerprinting, Criminal Record Check, Approval from NYS Office of Mental Health, Clean valid NY State Driver’s License

Pay
- Sunday 2pm-10pm, Friday 8am-4pm - 16 hours per week
