About the role
This role is for a Residential Counselor - MAP responsible for supporting adults in Group Living Environments (GLE).
Responsibilities
- providing rehabilitative support
- teaching activities of daily living (ADLs) such as cooking, budgeting, and medication management
- implementing treatment plans and behavioral interventions
- supervising medication administration following MAP guidelines
- documenting care
- transporting residents
- advocating for their needs
- maintaining a safe, clean environment
Qualifications
- high school diploma or GED
- valid driver’s license
- strong communication skills
- basic computer proficiency
- experience in direct care preferred
- must obtain MAP certification within three months if not already certified
- compassion, patience, and trauma-informed care essential
- bilingual abilities a plus
- lived experience a plus
Schedule
Schedule is Thursday‑Saturday, 11 PM – 9 AM.
