Responsibilities
- Supervise the daily activities of participants, providing ongoing support, guidance and role modeling.
- Facilitate participant improvement in the areas of personal responsibility, social skills, medication monitoring and administration, community living skills and behavior.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree and/or two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience with client population.

NFI North is seeking a 2nd shift Direct Care Counselor at our 12-bed Adult Transitional Housing Program in Bradford NH. The program provides a residential treatment and day program with comprehensive clinical, vocational services and life skills for adults living with mental illness seeking independent living. NFI North is committed to creating a world where mental and behavioral health services are readily accessible for everyone.
Skills
- Ability to work with individuals with mental illness.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Experience in supervision and facilitation of skill-building activities.
- Knowledge of medication management and community living skills.
