About the role
Beacon of Hope (BOH), a Division of Catholic Charities Community Services (CCCS), is seeking Residential Counselor for the 4 PM – 12 AM shifts to work in a 24-hour congregate setting. The position is located at 1180 Fulton Avenue, Bronx, NY 10456.
Responsibilities
- Provide support services to clients living with serious mental illness and in various stages of recovery.
- Serve as a liaison for all other services required by clients.
- Perform environmental assessments.
- Escorts clients to appointments.
- Work in accordance with Office of Mental Health regulations for Licensed Housing as well as CCCS and BOH Policies and Procedures.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Two years of Case Management experience, preferably with SMI population

Pay
Hourly pay is $22.79 - 24.38 per hour. Pro-rated on time actually worked during the year.
