What's Your Day Like?
As our full-time, part-time, or per diem 3rd Shift Residential Counselor, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of our residents during night hours. This role includes providing supervision and support, assisting with nighttime routines, and fostering a calm environment. You will promptly address emergencies or resident needs with professionalism, maintaining detailed documentation of activities and incidents. Collaboration with day shift staff is vital for seamless care continuity. Additionally, you'll play a crucial role in empowering residents to achieve greater independence and control over their lives by assisting with personal care, household tasks, social connections, health, recreation, and community involvement, bridging the gap between current accomplishments and future aspirations.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Valid driver's license
- Able to remain awake during an overnight shift to ensure the safety and well-being of students
- Able to work holidays and weekend shifts as required
- Able to perform activities of daily living
- Able to perform physical interventions as necessary to provide the safest environment for our students
- Mandatory 6 days of training with a schedule of Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 4:30 pm plus the following Monday
- One year of caregiving experience is preferred
- A high school degree or equivalent is a bonus
Pay & Benefits
- Pay: $18.50 - $21.50 an hour, depending on experience and education
- Shift differentials: Earn up to $3 per hour extra for weekend shifts, $2 per hour extra for evening shifts, and $1 per hour extra for overnight shifts

Sign-On Bonus
We are pleased to offer you a Sign-On Bonus of up to $2,000. Bonuses are prorated for regular scheduled shifts of less than 40 hours.
