Residential Construction Estimator

Ring's End, Inc. is seeking an Estimator – Residential Construction in Wilton, CT. This position offers a competitive salary and benefits package, including:

Responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates for projects of varying sizes and complexities
• Review construction documents and correct potential inaccuracies to material lists
• Prepare take-off documents for contractor proposals
• Work with internal customers, the Ring's End Sales Force
• Onboard and train on Ring's End POS system, window and door quoting software
• Become familiar with all aspects of Ring's End within 2-6 months
• Weekly touch bases with Department Manager

Requirements

• Teachable and have an Ownership Mindset
• Solid background in building materials, plan comprehension, and construction methods
• Effective communication, organizational, and time management skills
• Ability to work both independently and in a team
• Detail-oriented
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills
• Knowledge of or teachable in Window and Door quoting software, Internal Estimating software

Skills

• Experience in CAD, PlanSwift, Ring's End's POS software, Marvin, Anderson, Upstate quoting portals will be extremely helpful

Pay

The pay for this position is competitive.

Schedule

The Estimator works Monday through Friday from 7 am to 5 pm, totaling 48 hours per week.
