Residential Concierge

About the role

Mandarin Oriental Residences, Fifth Avenue is seeking a Residential Concierge to join the Residences team. Located at 685 54th Street in New York City’s premier Fifth Avenue retail corridor, the residence is steps from Central Park, Rockefeller Center, MoMA, and St. Patrick’s Cathedral. The building offers 65 spacious apartments with a rooftop pool, fitness and wellness center, private dining, and luxurious interiors. The Residential Concierge provides 5‑star service to residents, reporting to the Director of Residences.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a constantly updated database with extensive information about city highlights and demonstrate firsthand knowledge through research.
• Be proactive, anticipate resident requirements, and inquire about the success or enjoyment of recommendations.
• Maintain a daily record (via software) of all requests, reservations, and confirmations for residents.
• Know unit owners and tenants by name; be aware of all in‑house and arriving residents and company‑wide happenings.
• Arrange package delivery and pickup, noting location, time, date, and reference ID.
• Arrange tickets for theatre, sporting events, and local attractions.
• Make and confirm dining reservations, provide superb recommendations, and log all reservations.
• Provide residents with confirmation for reservations, transportation, theatre tickets, etc.
• Communicate key details to management and colleagues; provide a daily shift log to the Director of Residential Operations.
• Give clear directions for residents traveling outside the property and respond to all resident needs and requests.
• Be proactive in sending residents' mail to their units as authorized.
• Know which laundry vendors unit owners use and ensure laundry is sent to the correct provider; log all outgoing and incoming laundry.
• Assist in coordinating services that promote maintenance and upkeep of owners’ homes.
• Coordinate and organize daily activities and requests of residents.
• Log and account for all housekeeping requests, ensuring à la carte services are billed accurately and timely.
