Residential Care Supervisor 1 - 3rd shift

About the role

The Residential Care Supervisor 1 provides supervision to Therapeutic Program Workers (TPWs) at the Developmental Centers.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead direct care staff (Therapeutic Program Workers) across assigned residential areas and shifts
• Manage daily staffing operations including scheduling, overtime, leave approvals, and coverage needs
• Coach, train, and evaluate staff; provide feedback and initiate corrective action when needed
• Assign daily duties, coordinate transportation, and ensure coverage for appointments, outings, and activities
• Ensure implementation of Individual Program Plans (PCPs) and behavioral support plans through active supervision and rounding
• Promote active treatment and ensure quality services are delivered consistently
• Monitor documentation, incident reports, and staff records for accuracy and compliance
• Investigate incidents, workplace injuries, policy violations, and unusual incidents; complete required reports
• Address employee relations matters at the first-step level, including resolving grievances
• Ensure compliance with Medicaid (ICF/IID) standards, agency policies, and labor agreements
• Maintain inventory, approve purchases, and ensure supplies and equipment are available
• Conduct environmental and safety checks; submit work orders as needed

Qualifications

• 24 months training or 24 months experience in providing care to patients and/or in participating in development and/or carrying out of patients' habilitation plans
• Preferably for those who had developmental disabilities or mental disability, and in implementing and carrying out same
• Or equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications for Employment noted above

Pay & Schedule

• Starting Hourly Pay: $25.72 per hour
• 3rd Shift (11:00 pm to 7:30 am)
• Full-time
