Residential Building Handyman - Union

Responsibilities

• Cultivates daily routine work orders
• Maintains building mechanicals such as HVAC, exhaust/supply air, pump/motors etc.
• Performs minor electric repairs
• Plasters and paints as needed
• Handles minor plumbing repairs and emergencies
• Expands water source heat pump system experience is mandatory
• Reports any concerns to management
• Conducts daily facility inspections
• Supervises all building operations staff (other responsibilities)

Requirements

• Organizational and time management skills with the ability to perform required duties and daily inspections with minimal supervision
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to take initiative, work independently, and multi-task with attention to detail
• Hands-on maintenance of the property including - cleaning, trash collection, plumbing, lock-smithing, basic HVAC Maintenance, painting, etc.
• Familiarity with facilities/operations and solid knowledge of building systems
• 3-5 years' experience in residential buildings
• Knowledge of Building Link
• Ability to resolve problems and adhere to safety guidelines
• Experience interacting with tenants
• Dependable and reliable
• Team player

Pay

$23.057 - 27.126 per hour.
