Responsibilities
- Conduct formal appraisals of real property or land for a variety of clients including banks, mortgage lenders, AMCs, attorneys, and individual owners.
- Provide an unbiased, comprehensive, and professional opinion of market value.
- Examine all variables that impact the property’s value, including but not limited to property sales data and comparable sales.
- Comply with USPAP and keep informed of all current regulations, standards, and best practices.
- Be a certified appraiser in good standing.
- Strong analytical and research skills
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Knowledge and experience searching online to obtain market data for comparative analysis.
- Acute attention to detail
- Possess sound judgement, excellent time management and organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize assignments and meet deadlines.
- Professional, positive, and respectful attitude with clients, property owners, property contacts and co-workers
