Residential Advisor Overnight shift: 11:30pm - 8:30am ($ 1,000.00 Sign on Bonus)

Job Description

• Mets at least bi-weekly with assigned students.
• Manages student incidents to protect all students from harm.
• Notes individual meetings with students, addressing issues and expressing plans to resolve problems.
• Notifies other staff to coordinate services via memo, phone, or personal conversation.
• Conducts dormitory inspections yielding acceptable ratings.
• Participates in events, demonstrating professional behaviors for students and modeling employment skills.
• Completes assignments within time frames and rarely needs correction.
• Ensures student folders present and up-to-date, reflecting the history of services provided.
• Verifies accuracy of student data and submits it within established time frames.
• Documents medical and AWOL removal logs, ensuring all procedures are followed within established time frames.
• Makes regular entries in Dorm logs detailing conditions of dorms during rounds.
• Accurately and timely submits all accountability documents and reports.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED), or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• One to three months related experience and/or training in Human Services area preferred.
