Resident Services Associate
FirstService Residential will compensate the successful candidate in the range of $23-25/hr, based on experience, education, and specific job responsibilities. For positions at a client's property, pay may also reflect the client's directive.
Schedule
Tuesday – Saturday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM. Hours are subject to change to accommodate business needs, including occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-level front-end concierge services to residents to ensure a quality community lifestyle experience.
- Respond to residents in a professional, courteous, and timely manner without exception.
- Answer the telephone professionally, handle messages courteously, accurately, and promptly.
- Assist residents with amenity reservations and service requests.
- Respond to homeowner inquiries regarding facility usage and maintenance concerns.
- Attend and participate in designated meetings or functions as requested by management.
- Collaborate with RanchLife and RanchRide activities/events, including facility readiness and staffing as needed.
- Anticipate and improve services by evaluating resident observations and feedback.
- Track accomplishments and challenges to evaluate and enhance service levels and operations.
- Enforce all rules, regulations, and policies established by the Board of Directors.
- Perform other duties as assigned, including special projects and administrative tasks.
Requirements
- Ability to follow oral and written directions, keep accurate records, and perform administrative functions.
- Strong ethical practices and professional conduct.
- Proficient in speaking, reading, and writing English; bilingual Spanish is desirable.
- General math skills and ability to determine next-level involvement for problem resolution.
- Ability to work well under pressure, meet deadlines, and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong decision-making and creative problem-solving skills.
- Adherence to FirstService Residential’s global service standards and policies.
- Ensure confidentiality between FirstService Residential, Board Members, homeowners, and staff.
- Maintain a professional demeanor, appearance, and positive attitude at all times.
- Outstanding administrative, organizational, and multitasking skills.
- Ability to research information efficiently using the internet or other resources.
- Valid California State Driver’s License and state-mandated insurance.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in front-end customer service within property management, hospitality concierge, or similar industries.
- At least 2 years of experience working with a 55+ demographic is desirable.
- Certification in CPR and First Aid is desirable.
- Completion of college-level courses in Business, Hospitality, or Management is desirable.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit and/or stand for extended periods.
- Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds to support community event setup and teardown.
- Finger dexterity for keyboard use.
- Ability to handle job-related pressure and stress.
- Work environment includes a small onsite office facility.
- Consistent and regular attendance is required.
