Resident Monitor (Full-Time, Part-Time, & Relief)

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Makes sure all residents are accounted for while inside and outside the facility, enforcing all rules, responsibilities, and restrictions.
• Monitors and documents all transactions related to residents, including money, subsistence, medications, first-aid supplies, mail, visitors, accountability checks, and telephone calls.
• Supports counselors in resident programming, which may involve setting up electronic monitoring equipment, visiting residents at home and work, and conducting alcohol and urine tests.
• Conducts and documents regular inspections of the facility to ensure residents' health, safety, and accountability, and maintains physical plant safety and sanitation standards.
• Keeps up-to-date on facility procedures and policies outlined in the Statement of Work, Physical Plant, and Operations Manuals, and follows emergency drills, life safety, facility sanitation, escape, and unusual occurrence procedures.
• Works flexible schedules to cover shifts as needed, including 1st Shift (7:30 AM - 4:00 PM), 2nd Shift (3:30 PM - 12:00 AM), and 3rd Shift (11:30 PM - 8:00 AM).
• Maintains the cleanliness of the facility through tasks such as dusting, polishing, vacuuming, and disposing of trash.
• Performs other duties as assigned by the Director.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• One year of paid work experience.

Qualifications

• Ability to work with individuals and groups in both routine and emergency situations.

Skills

• Knowledge of facility procedures and policies.
• Ability to conduct inspections and document findings.
• Experience with electronic monitoring equipment and resident programming.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Pay

$22.84 per hour for full-time positions.

Schedule

Shifts are defined as:

• 1st Shift: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM
• 2nd Shift: 3:30 PM - 12:00 AM
• 3rd Shift: 11:30 PM - 8:00 AM

Shifts are variable as needed.
