About the role

This position is for a full-time Resident Manager III/General Manager with a 2-bedroom unit to work at Markham Plaza I & II, a 305-unit affordable family housing community in San Jose, CA. This is a PSH/TCAC property. Qualified candidates will have previous experience managing affordable housing programs, working with Santa Clara Office of Supportive Housing, and experience with 3rd Party management, as well as supervising a team of on-site employees. Must have a current Real Estate License or be able to obtain one within 9 months of hire. Yardi Voyager experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Complies with HUD, TCAC, or other regulations
  • Oversees Compliance Department to ensure Leasing and Re-certification compliance
  • Supervises on-site Staff, all programs, and departments of a 300+ unit property
  • Processes Evictions, Conducts Annual Inspections, and Oversees all Repairs
  • For HUD Properties, submits Vouchers

Requirements

  • 3+ Years of Affordable Housing Property Management Experience at a 300+ unit property
  • Strong Supervisory Experience
  • Knowledge of HUD, TCAC, DFEH, and ADA Guidelines
  • Ability to Develop and Implement Budgets and Variance Reports
  • Skills in Resident Problem Solving and Staff Management
  • Must have a current Real Estate License or be able to obtain one within 9 months of hire

Pay

Salary range: $69,888.00 - $114,258.00 per year; hiring range for new employees is generally $69,888.00 - $91,683 per year, depending on experience. Please note an offer will take into consideration the experience of the final candidate and the current salary level of individuals working at EAH in a similar role.

Schedule

Full-time position. Onsite housing includes a 2-bedroom unit; a cleaning deposit is required and the employee will be responsible for utilities.
