Resident Inspector

About the Role

French & Parrello Associates (FPA) is seeking a Resident Inspector for our Construction Engineering Department in Wall, Camden, and Newark, NJ.

Responsibilities

• Perform construction inspection on New Jersey-based bridge and roadway projects.
• Assist in the review of cost estimates and project submittals.
• Coordinate with project managers.
• Travel to project sites when required.
• Ensure daily contractor operations are in accordance with contract documents.
• Keep organized and up-to-date project files.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited civil engineering school required.
• Professional Engineering (PE) license or valid NICET certification required.
• Minimum of four (4) years of experience with construction projects.
• Experience performing construction inspection.
• Ability to pass a TWIC background check.

Pay

The projected compensation range for this position is $75,000 to $90,000. Actual compensation will depend on factors such as experience, education, and skill set.
