As a Resident in Counseling, you will have the opportunity to work with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other developmental challenges, empowering them and their families.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive, diagnostic, behavioral health assessments for those seeking community-based services in collaboration with the supervising LMHP.
• Provide outpatient counseling services to children and their families affected by a variety of neurodevelopmental challenges.
• Provide home- and clinic-based ABA services, family support, parent training, and care coordination for youth with Autism Spectrum Disorder or other developmental challenges.
• Participate in trainings and clinical supervision that focus on a holistic approach integrating behavioral therapy, Motivational Interviewing, TF-CBT, and other psychotherapeutic strategies.
• Utilize videotaping as a way to provide in-depth supervision and training that fosters continued growth.
• Collaborate with a variety of licensed professionals and work on a multidisciplinary team.

Requirements

• Minimum of a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, working towards licensure.
• Active driver’s license and at least 1 year of licensed driving experience.
