Responsible Duties

A Resident Care Support Partner is responsible for providing direct, non-clinical support to guests within a recuperative care facility. This role ensures guests experience a safe, respectful, and supportive environment while assisting with activities of daily living and reinforcing care plan expectations during recovery.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in caregiving, recuperative care, shelter-based care, or a related supportive services environment (preferred).
  • Ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be able to work a schedule consisting of five (5) eight (8) hour shifts.
  • Current BLS certification is preferred but not required.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with staff, Resident/Guests, and external partners.
  • Bilingual in Spanish a plus.
  • TB clearance required. Within 30 days of hire.
  • Fingerprint live scan/background clearance required will be done within 30 days of hire.

Physical Requirements

  • The duties described will require standing and walking 90% of the time.
  • The employee will frequently bend/stoop, squat, reach above the shoulders, twist, and turn, kneel, and push/pull.
  • The employee will frequently be required to lift/pull/push/move up to 50 pounds.
  • Must utilize conversational speech for effective verbal communication.
  • Noise level is high in some client care areas.
