Essential Job Duties And Responsibilities
- Assist Resident Experience Specialists with the planning and execution of resident events and programs, including logistics, vendor coordination, and on-site support.
- Manage event set-up and breakdown, ensuring that all necessary materials and equipment are in place.
- Greet and assist residents at events, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience.
- Aid in the preparation of event materials, such as flyers, invitations, and decorations.
- Track event attendance and gather resident feedback to contribute to ongoing program improvement.
- Foster a welcoming and inclusive community atmosphere that encourages resident interaction and a sense of belonging.
- Aid in the development and implementation of resident communication strategies, including newsletters, social media updates, and on-site announcements.
- Respond to resident inquiries and requests in a timely and professional manner.
- Coordinate community outreach initiatives and partnerships.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to resident events and programs.
- Aid in the management of event budgets and vendor contracts.
- Provide administrative support to the Resident Experience team as needed.
Skills And Experience
- A high school diploma or equivalent required; a bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Event Planning, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in event planning, customer service, or a related field.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and basic computer skills.
- Exceptional customer service skills and a positive, can-do attitude.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends as needed.
- Valid driver's license with no major infractions in the last 12 months.

Regional Laws And Regulations
- The Resident Experience Coordinator must be knowledgeable of and comply with all applicable state and federal laws and regulations, including Fair Housing laws, landlord-tenant laws, and privacy laws.
- Specific regional considerations include: Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Utah, Tennessee, Virginia.
