Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accuracy of field notes and ensure flow of technical information.
- Prepare comprehensive assessment reports for turbines, generators, and associated equipment.
- Oversee the work of all engineering personnel and inspect materials.
- Resolve client and design engineer questions within required timeframe.
- Monitor proactive activities and installations of equipment.
- Attend site meetings and prepare reports.
- Issue Site Instructions (SIs).
- Respond to Requests For Information (RFIs) from the contractor.
Qualifications and Experience / Minimum Requirements
- BEng (Civil) or BTech (Civil), registered with ECSA as a Professional.
- Minimum 10 years’ resident engineer function in steel and/or ductile iron bulk water supply pipelines, larger than 500 mm diameter pipelines.
- Proficient with MS Office, MS Project, and drafting software.
- Exceptional communication skills with the team and clients.
- Sound knowledge and understanding of design compliance standards.
- Valid driver’s license is essential.
