Job Description

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Resident Engineer - Heavy Civil to join our team! In this role you will get to work on one of the most exciting Infrastructure projects in the Country!

The Hudson Tunnel project in NY/NJ was recently awarded to Parsons and 2 other partners. Program background
The Gateway Program is the most urgent infrastructure program in the country – a comprehensive set of rail investments that will improve commuter and intercity services, add needed resiliency and, in its later stages, create new capacity between Newark, New Jersey and New York City, the busiest section of the Northeast Corridor (NEC).

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in construction-related field (or equivalent construction-related work experience), and typically 10-15+ years of experience in field construction is required.
  • Experience in the construction of large civil/structural and/or industrial projects at domestic and/or foreign locations is preferred.
  • Advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., PE license) is preferred.
  • Proven experience in tunneling, underground construction, or ventilation engineering, with a minimum of 10 years in a similar role.
  • In-depth knowledge of tunneling methods, ventilation systems, and geotechnical engineering principles.
  • Proficiency in project management software, CAD tools, and technical analysis software (e.g., AutoCAD, MATLAB, ANSYS).
  • Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment and manage competing priorities.
  • Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations (e.g., OSHA, ASTM, NFPA).
  • Familiarity with construction safety protocols and risk assessment methodologies.

Pay

Salary Range: $134,100.00 - $241,400.00
