Resident Care Manager

Responsibilities

• Makes sure that care is delivered with integrity, dignity, and compassion.
• Monitors and evaluates assigned residents and regularly assesses levels of care.
• Assists residents with simple requests as needed or finds appropriate associates to assist.
• Serves as a supervisor for departmental operations under the guidance of the department director or Executive Director.
• Responds tactfully and promptly to residents, family members, and staff.
• Maintains responsibility for resident medication programs and ensures all physician orders are followed.
• Aids in scheduling for care associates.

Requirements

• Previous supervisory experience preferred.
• High school graduate required; college course work preferred.
• Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) certification is preferred.
• One to three years’ experience working in senior care.

Qualifications

• Must have or be able to obtain the appropriate State license required by law if required.
• CPR certified is preferred.
• Basic competency in using multiple forms of technology, including Microsoft Office applications, internet-based tools, and custom software.
• Able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as needed.
