The Resident Care Manager receives a hiring bonus of $1500.
About the role
The Resident Care Manager directs, coordinates, and supervises care services provided by care associates for the senior residents. They ensure exemplary service is delivered with integrity, dignity, and compassion. They may also be responsible for medication control and coordination with physicians to ensure care and medications are delivered as directed. They encourage independence and ensure each resident's physical, social, cultural, and intellectual well-being.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and evaluate assigned residents and regularly assess levels of care, especially when there is a change in condition or to determine if a resident is no longer appropriate for the setting, notifying the Assistant Living Director as required.
- Assist residents with simple requests as needed or find appropriate associates to assist.
- Effectively supervise departmental operations as directed on a day-to-day basis under the guidance of the department director or Executive Director.
- Respond in a tactful and timely manner to all residents, family members, and/or staff.
- May be responsible for supervising resident medication programs.
- May be asked to monitor all physician orders and ensure they have been followed timely and accurately.
- Aid in scheduling for Care associates.
- Perform other related duties as required.
Requirements
- Previous supervisory experience preferred.
- High school graduate required; college course work preferred.
- Registered Nurse (RN) OR Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
- One to three years’ experience working in senior care.
Qualifications
- Must have or be able to obtain the appropriate State license required by law if required.
- CPR Certified preferred.
- Basic competency in the use of multiple forms of technology, including Microsoft Office applications, internet-based and custom.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as needed.
Skills
Leadership experience is strongly preferred.

$80,000 to $85,000 depending on experience
