About the role

The Resident Care Director (RCD) serves as the clinical leader responsible for overseeing health, wellness, and care coordination to deliver high-quality, resident-centered services.

Responsibilities

• Leading and managing the nursing team
• Conducting resident assessments
• Overseeing Individualized Service Plans (ISP)
• Monitoring changes in resident conditions
• Collaborating with physicians and clinical partners
• Overseeing medication management
• Overseeing infection control programs
• Serving as the CLIA and Infection Control leader where applicable
• Driving Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) initiatives
• Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations
• Recruiting, training, and managing clinical staff
• Handling staffing, scheduling, and departmental budgets
• Partnering with sales to evaluate move-in suitability

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Leadership experience in clinical or senior living settings
