Resident Care Director Summary The Resident Care Director (RCD) serves as the clinical leader responsible for overseeing health, wellness, and care coordination within the community. They drive clinical excellence, ensure regulatory compliance, and manage team performance to deliver high-quality, resident-centered services.

Responsibilities

• Leading and managing the nursing team and care programs
• Conducting resident assessments and overseeing Individualized Service Plans (ISP)
• Monitoring residents' health changes and coordinating with physicians and clinical partners
• Overseeing medication management and infection control programs
• Serving as CLIA and Infection Control leader, as applicable
• Driving Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) initiatives
• Ensuring compliance with federal, state/provincial, and nursing regulations
• Recruiting, training, and managing clinical staff performance
• Managing staffing, scheduling, and departmental budget
• Partnering with sales to assess move-in appropriateness
