Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor nurses, caregivers, and medication staff
- Ensure outstanding resident assessments, care planning, and service delivery
- Oversee medication management and clinical compliance
- Maintain quality assurance and regulatory compliance standards
- Build, coach, and retain an engaged resident care team
- Develop staffing schedules and manage labor budgets
- Conduct care plan meetings with residents, families, and healthcare providers
- Partner closely with the Executive Director and department leaders to drive excellent resident outcomes
- Promote resident safety, employee engagement, and Arbor's culture of excellence
- Participate in Manager-on-Duty rotation and provide leadership support as needed
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Jersey
- Minimum 3 years of leadership experience in senior living, assisted living, long-term care, or related healthcare setting
- Experience supervising nursing and caregiver teams
- Strong knowledge of state regulations and clinical compliance
- Experience with staffing, scheduling, and labor management
Qualifications
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Ability to work a flexible schedule and participate in on-call responsibilities
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience with quality assurance/performance improvement (QA/QI)
- Experience using electronic health records or applicant/resident management systems
