Resident Care Coordinator (Full-Time) - Highlands Square

About the role

Highlands Square is seeking a Resident Care Coordinator to assist our residents with their daily tasks and ensure a safe and enjoyable living environment. Our Resident Care Coordinators plan, direct, and assist with all resident care staffing and service needs within the scope of their respective certifications. We’ve partnered with Tapcheck, a mobile app that allows team members to access their earned wages instantly, empowering them with more control over their finances.

Responsibilities

• Complete scheduling for resident care staff
• In collaboration with Director of Clinical Services, orient, monitor progress, and reinforce training of resident care staff
• Complete all Navion Senior Solutions and state-required documentation in a timely manner
• Assist the Director of Clinical Services in implementing state regulations as required
• Provide manager-on-duty coverage, present the community, and plan/participate in staff meetings
• Plan and implement marketing and community events
• Audit Medication Administration Report (MAR) and notify pharmacy of changes
• Conduct regular inspections of resident records and maintain them in accordance with state regulations
• Complete resident assessments as outlined by Navion Senior Solutions and licensure guidelines in a timely manner

Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Experience or training in an equivalent setting preferred
• Medication Technician certification required
• General understanding of and concern for the needs of seniors
• Ability to work in an environment conducive to caring for residents without posing a substantial safety or health threat to self or others
• Ability to manage team processes and promote a team environment
