Resident Care Coordinator

About the role

Calyx Living of Wakefield, located just off Capital Boulevard in North Raleigh, is seeking an energetic and experienced Resident Care Coordinator to coordinate resident care needs and staffing for our assisted living community. This position involves maintaining schedules, updating coordination tools such as physician appointment and pharmacy logs, and organizing clinical records. When the Resident Care Director is absent, the Resident Care Coordinator assumes responsibility for the supervision and delivery of resident care services in compliance with Calyx policies and North Carolina state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate resident care needs and staffing
• Maintain staff schedules
• Update coordination tools including physician appointment logs and pharmacy logs
• File and organize clinical records
• Supervise and deliver resident care services when the Resident Care Director is absent, ensuring compliance with Calyx policies and North Carolina state regulations

Qualifications

• Demonstrated passion for working with the senior population
• Meet minimum criteria to perform as a Supervisor in Charge in the State of North Carolina
• Licensed Medication Technician
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience scheduling staff and coordinating resident care communication
• Comfortable using scheduling applications on computers and mobile devices
