ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Maintains consistent contact with residents and family members to provide prompt and courteous resolution to concerns.
- Deal with resident concerns and requests on a timely basis, in coordination with the Assisted Living Director, to ensure resident satisfaction with management.
- Aids the Assisted Living Director in coordinating all aspects of the operation to meet and exceed state regulations.
- Aids the Assisted Living Director in achieving acceptable results from state and other regulatory agencies.
- Aids the Director of Assisting Living with hiring and training of department team members.
- Provides support to staff to encourage team work and lead as an example in creating a harmonious environment.
- Aids the Director of Assisting Living with maintaining community appearance and repairs.
- Ensures all administrative paperwork is accurate, complete and submitted on a timely basis.
- Utilizes technology as a practice to be efficient with community resources.
- Sure proper response and handling of all community emergencies with staff.
- Represents the company in a professional manner at all times. Operating a company vehicle or personal vehicle (as required) to perform job duties.
- Working in a high-pressure environment, interacting with difficult customers/vendors, handling urgent matters, resolving conflicts, having effective interpersonal skills

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION
- Five years of experience in the industry or a related field.
- Working knowledge of the industry.
- Thorough comprehension of the regulations related to the operation of the community.
- Excellent verbal, written and listening skills.
- Proficient computer skills including but not limited to Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and the community’s EHR platform.
BACKGROUND CHECK PROCESS
- Beztak and All Seasons complete pre-employment testing in accordance with company policies and all state-requirements.
- This includes criminal background checks, fingerprinting (where applicable) and drug testing.
- Florida applicants please visit: https://info.flclearinghouse.com/ for specific state information regarding Level 2 ACHA requirements.
- Arizona applicants will need to obtain a fingerprint clearance card, TB test and clear the Adult Protective Services registry.
- Michigan applicants will need to take a TB test and complete fingerprinting.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- The position requires prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- You will also frequently walk, stand, climb stairs, and communicate with co-workers, guests, residents, and the public.
- May occasionally be exposed to extreme conditions, including high heat, humidity, freezing temperatures, and heavy rain while performing outdoor tasks.
- Periodically be confined to a vehicle.
