About the role
Eagle Crest Communities is seeking a Resident Care Assistant to support residents in our high acuity assisted living apartments. This setting is designed for individuals whose needs exceed traditional assisted living but do not require skilled nursing care. Residents range from independent to those needing mechanical lifts, medication administration assistance, and other activities of daily living.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with personal cares and daily activities while promoting independence and dignity
- Provide dressing, bathing, and bathroom assistance
- Transport residents to meals and activities
- Document daily care
- Communicate with residents, families, and other departments to ensure resident safety and well-being
Schedule
Multiple full-time, part-time, and casual call opportunities available:
- Full-Time: 68+ hours per 2-week pay period, Monday–Friday with on-call weekend every 7th weekend
- Casual Call: Build your own schedule – minimum 3 shifts per month (2 on weekends) plus on-call rotation
- Part-Time: 16+ hours per 2-week pay period
Available shifts (days may vary and include weekends/holidays; every other weekend and holiday off):
- AM: 6:00am–10:00am, 7:00am–2:00pm, 6:45am–3:15pm
- PM: 5:00pm–10:00pm, 6:00pm–10:00pm, 3:00pm–11:15pm
- NOC: 11:00pm–7:00am
Requirements
- Previous direct care experience preferred
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) training and/or experience (any state) preferred
- CBRF Certification preferred
Certifications are not required – training provided for the right fit.
Pay
Starting wages: $19.75–$24.15 per hour, based on experience and qualifications. Higher starting pay for:
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) training (any state)
- CNA, Resident Care, or Home Health experience
- CBRF Certification(s)
Shift differentials:
- $3.00 NOC shift
- $1.25 PM shift
- $2.00 weekend shift
Incentive pay and performance reviews at 3–6 months and annually.
