RESIDENT CARE ASSISTANT - FT 60 TO 80 HOURS - NIGHT SHIFT

La Crosse County · West Salem, WI · 1 mo ago
Healthcare$17.06–$20.89/hrFull-time
We need to output HTML fragment with sections: About the role? Actually we have content: About La Crosse County (intro), Why Join La Crosse County (benefits), Overview (FLSA, location, shift, wage range), Essential Leadership Functions (list), Essential Job Functions (list), Related Job Functions (maybe not needed?), Knowledge, Skills And Abilities (list), Training, Experience And Other Requirements (list). Also we have Physical demands etc. We need to follow rules: Use

for section headings (e.g., About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule). Use
  • for any list of duties/requirements/benefits, and

for prose. Do NOT repeat the job title as a heading (the page already shows it) and do NOT put Job ID / requisition numbers as headings — fold minor metadata into a short

or drop it. Preserve ALL substantive information; do NOT invent or summarize away detail. Remove cookie/navigation/legal/EEO/equal-opportunity/scam-warning boilerplate, duplicated lines, and application instructions. IMPORTANT: include a section ONLY when the posting has real, specific content for it — never emit a heading followed by filler/placeholder text (e.g., "commensurate with experience", "not specified", "N/A", "varies", "TBD") and never create Pay/Schedule/Benefits sections unless the posting actually states them. Prefer a few substantive sections over many thin ones. Output ONLY the HTML fragment — no /, no markdown code fences. Thus we need to decide which sections to include based on content. We have: - About La Crosse County: description of mission, strategic plan. Could be "About the role"? Actually "About La Crosse County" is about organization. Could map to "About the role"? But we have "About La Crosse County" and "Why Join La Crosse County?" which includes benefits: Wisconsin Retirement System, Affordable Insurance Premiums, Generous Paid Time Off, Work-Life Balance, DEIB. That's benefits. - Overview: includes FLSA: Non-Exempt, location, shift, wage range. That could be "Pay" and "Schedule". Also location maybe not needed but we can include in overview as prose. - Essential Leadership Functions: list of leadership competencies. Could be "Responsibilities" or "Qualifications"? Might be "Responsibilities". But they are leadership functions, maybe "Responsibilities". However we also have Essential Job Functions (specific duties). That could be "Responsibilities" as well. But we need to avoid duplicate sections. Perhaps we can combine leadership functions under "Qualifications" or "Skills"? But they are more like competencies. The instruction says use headings like About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule. We need to pick appropriate ones. We have benefits explicitly: Wisconsin Retirement System, Affordable Insurance Premiums, Generous Paid Time Off, Work-Life Balance, DEIB. So we can have a Benefits section. Pay: wage range $17.06 to $20.89 per hour including shift differentials. So we can have Pay section. Schedule: Night Shift (10:30 PM to 7:00 AM) including weekend and holiday rotations. So Schedule section. Responsibilities: Essential Job Functions (list of duties). Could be Responsibilities. Requirements: Knowledge, Skills And Abilities (list) plus Training, Experience And Other Requirements (list). Could be Requirements. Qualifications: maybe we can include Experience as a Resident Care Assistant etc. But we already have Requirements. Could combine. Skills: maybe Knowledge, Skills And Abilities could be Skills. We need to avoid thin sections. Perhaps we can have sections: About the role (organization overview), Benefits, Pay, Schedule, Responsibilities, Requirements (combining knowledge/skills and experience). That seems sufficient. We must not include headings with filler. Ensure each section has substantive content. We need to remove boilerplate: Equal Opportunity Employer Statement, Application Process, etc. Also remove duplicated lines. We need to preserve all substantive information: include details about mission, benefits, pay, schedule, responsibilities list, requirements list (knowledge, skills, abilities, training, experience, other requirements). Also include FLSA Non-Exempt maybe as part of Overview but we can incorporate into Responsibilities or Requirements? Could add a short paragraph under About the role or Requirements. But we have no specific heading for FLSA; we could include it in a short p under Requirements or Overview. Since we don't have a heading for Overview, we could embed it in a paragraph under About the role or Requirements. However we must not invent headings. We can just include a

before sections with that info. But the instruction: Use

for section headings (e.g. About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule). It doesn't forbid other headings, but says use those for section headings. Likely we should stick to those headings only. So we can have sections: About the role, Benefits, Pay, Schedule, Responsibilities, Requirements. We need to include all substantive info. Let's extract: About La Crosse County: "At La Crosse County, we are committed to creating a vibrant, safe, and inclusive community. Guided by our Strategic Plan, we focus on economic growth, environmental stewardship, affordable housing, and robust public services that enhance the quality of life for all residents." Why Join La Crosse County? Benefits: Wisconsin Retirement System (WRS): A top-rated pension program. Affordable Insurance Premiums: Comprehensive health, dental, and vision coverage. Generous Paid Time Off: Vacation, sick, and 10+ paid holidays annually. Work-Life Balance: Flexible schedules and wellness programs. Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, And Belonging (DEIB) At La Crosse County, we believe that diversity strengthens our community. We are committed to fostering an inclusive workplace where all employees feel valued. We could combine DEIB as part of benefits. Pay: Wage range: $17.06 to $20.89 per hour including shift differentials. Schedule: Shift: Night Shift (10:30 PM to 7:00 AM) including weekend and holiday rotations. Location: Lakeview Health Center & Assisted Living (maybe include in About the role or Responsibilities? Could add a short p under About the role: "Location: Lakeview Health Center & Assisted Living". But we might treat location as part of About the role. FLSA: Non-Exempt (maybe include in About the role or Requirements as a note). Essential Leadership Functions: list of bullet points (Act with Integrity and Build Trust, etc). These are leadership competencies; could be part of Requirements or Qualifications. But we have a Responsibilities section for essential job functions. Leadership functions maybe more like "Qualifications". However we have no Qualifications section; we could put them under Requirements as well. Essential Job Functions: list of duties (assist with hygiene, meds, meals, safety, documentation, etc). That's Responsibilities. Related Job Functions: note that job description not exhaustive, may perform other duties. Could be omitted as boilerplate? It's substantive but maybe we can include in Responsibilities as a note. Knowledge, Skills And Abilities: list (working knowledge of principles of care, ability to work with individuals with dementia, etc). That's Skills. Training, Experience And Other Requirements: list (experience as Resident Care Assistant preferred, CNA registry, CBRF registry, experience with geriatric, mentally ill, developmentally disabled, driver's license, background check, age 18). That's Requirements. Physical demands: list (uses near vision, stands, walks, etc). Could be part of Requirements or maybe a separate section but we don't have a heading for Physical demands. Could include under Requirements as a note. We need to preserve all substantive info; we can embed physical demands in a

under Requirements. We must not include boilerplate: Equal Opportunity Employer Statement, Application Process, etc. We must not repeat job title as heading. We must not include Job ID/requisition numbers (none present). We must not create sections with filler. Thus final HTML:
