About the role
As a Resident Care Aide at Northrise Assisted Living, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our residents. We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team of dedicated healthcare professionals. Our residents are at the heart of everything we do, and we are committed to providing them with the highest level of care and comfort.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct care to residents in a warm, welcoming, and respectful environment
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Monitor and report any changes in resident condition or behavior
- Develop and implement personalized care plans to meet the unique needs of each resident
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure a smooth and efficient delivery of care
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and reports
- Provide individualized care to residents, including medication administration and vital sign monitoring
- Participate in care conferences and contribute to the development of individualized care plans
- Assist with meal preparation, feeding, and hydration
- Maintain a clean and organized environment, adhering to infection control and safety standards
- Respond to resident needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner
Requirements
- 0 years of experience in a healthcare setting (training provided)
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift, transfer, and move residents as needed
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
