Resident Care Aide

Peregrine Senior Living at Salisbury, a leading provider of senior assisted living and memory care, is seeking an energetic and dedicated Resident Care Aide.

Responsibilities

• Assist memory-impaired residents with tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing while maintaining their dignity and promoting independence.
• Ensure compliance and understanding of all regulations regarding residents’ rights.
• Maintain and document proper records of care.
• Immediately report changes in resident’s condition to the supervisor, including evidence of illness, behavioral changes, unmet personal care needs, medication issues, or unknown whereabouts.
• Promote and encourage residents to participate in community activities.

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Home Health Aide (HHA), or Personal Care Aide (PCA) certification preferred or as required by law.
• One year of experience in a caregiving capacity preferred.
• Compassion for and desire to work with the elderly required.

Starting at $15.00 per hour.
