Resident Associate at RCAC

Compensation: $17.25/hour (Resident Associate) or $22/hour (CNA) plus shift differential.

Schedule

• PM shift: 2:00 PM – 9:00 PM or 5:00 PM – 10:30 PM

The Opportunity

As a Residential Aide, you play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents. Your responsibilities span nursing-related tasks, housekeeping, laundry, and resident activities, all delivered with respect, compassion, and a commitment to maintaining independence and dignity. You will support residents according to their individual care plans, helping them meet their physical, emotional, and social needs in a homelike setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily personal care (dressing, undressing, hygiene, bathing)
• Administer and monitor medications; manage supplies and complete documentation
• Record vital signs and weights
• Perform laundry services (wash, dry, distribute clean laundry, collect dirty items)
• Help with mobility and safe transfers
• Support the kitchen (serve meals, wash dishes, clean and reset)
• Perform light housekeeping (empty trash, clean bathrooms, make and change beds)
• Encourage participation in resident activities
• Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment
• Exemplary attendance is essential to your role and team

Requirements

• High school diploma or 3+ years of relevant experience
• Excellent attendance and reliability
• Strong teamwork and customer service skills
• Ability to support residents with dignity, compassion, and respect
