Resident Assistant / Medication Aide - Part-time Evenings

About the role

This position involves delivering care and services such as medication administration, assistance with activities of daily living, and maintaining a safe, clean environment for residents.

Responsibilities

• Helping residents with bathing, dressing, toileting, transferring, and walking
• Obtaining vital signs and reporting health changes
• Meal preparation and serving nutritious meals and snacks
• Linen management and cleaning residents' rooms and common areas
• Supporting community involvement and participating in community activities and volunteer work
• Provide compassionate resident care following location standards
• Assist with medication management and health monitoring
• Support residents with personal hygiene and mobility

Qualifications and Skills

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Additional training in medication administration required and to be maintained per state guidelines
• Candidates must meet age requirements if lifting residents is involved
• Knowledge of infection control, safe chemical handling, and proper hygiene practices is essential
