Responsibilities

  • Administer medications as assigned, following proper training and procedures.
  • Absorb and assist residents in maintaining their personal hygiene and appearance.
  • Support residents with bathing, toileting, dressing, and undressing.
  • Assist with transfers, repositioning, and walking as needed.
  • Accurately obtain and report vital signs, and adhere to infection control guidelines.
  • Prepare and serve meals and snacks according to resident orders and dietary standards.
  • Clean and maintain residents' rooms, bathrooms, and communal spaces.
  • Participate in community events and volunteer opportunities within the facility.

Requirements

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, but a high school diploma or GED may be required based on the working state.
  • If using a lift to move residents, must meet the minimum state age requirement.
  • Must complete and maintain assigned medication administration training programs and competencies according to state guidelines.

Qualifications
