Resident Assistant / Medication Aide - Part-time Evenings

About the role

Join a not-for-profit organization dedicated to providing housing and services to seniors in a compassionate, Christian environment. This role provides care and support to residents, including medication administration, assistance with activities of daily living, hygiene, mobility, and vital sign monitoring. Ensures safety and adherence to health guidelines, including OSHA and CDC standards. Assists with meal preparation, linen management, cleaning, and community engagement activities.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal care and activities of daily living
• Administer medications and monitor health status
• Support proper nutrition and meal preparation
• Maintain clean and safe environments
• Participate in community engagement activities
• Adhere to OSHA, CDC, and other health and safety guidelines
• Perform physical tasks such as transferring and repositioning residents
• Manage linen and perform light cleaning duties

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Must complete and maintain medication training per state guidelines
• Minimum age requirements may apply for resident lift use
