About the role
Responsible for providing direct care and support to residents in a residential care facility.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with daily living activities
- Monitor residents' health and report any changes to healthcare providers
- Participate in team meetings to discuss resident needs and care plans
- Ensure cleanliness and safety of living quarters
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Previous caregiving experience preferred
Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Passion for providing compassionate care
Skills
- Basic first aid and CPR certification
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
